Brandon and Amber Washington are experienced entrepreneurs with a passion for restaurants. They co-owned and operated a successful BBQ restaurant known for its mouthwatering flavors and authentic cooking techniques. With their expertise in the BBQ industry, they provided customers with a delightful culinary experience, serving up delectable smoked meats and homemade sauces.

Our Vision

Beyond their BBQ venture, Amber and Brandon have over 15 years of experience managing multiple businesses. They have successfully operated a furniture company, a trucking company, a construction company, and have also ventured into the real estate market. Their diverse business portfolio showcases their versatility and adaptability as entrepreneurs.​

Lisa Clark

CFO Lisa has 30 years of finance and accounting experience in industries such as stock brokerage, real estate, and restaurants with over 25 years being in hospitality. She has worked for both public and private restaurant groups, holding various positions as Chief Financial Officer, Director of Accounting and Controller. Lisa has extensive experience on improving the bottom line and profitability by reviewing processes, internal controls, and financials against current date key performance indicators. Lisa also had experience in assisting and creating strategic plans and cash flow modeling for existing and new restaurants. Lisa has worked for companies of all sizes from small entrepreneurial business to medium and large businesses. Lisa holds a Master's Degree in Business Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Amy Riopel

Staff Accountant Amy has over 10+ years of restaurant experience working with many high-end establishments. She started in entry level positions in the hospitality industry and worked her way up to senior level positions including FOH management and corporate training. Amy started her financial career in Orlando, Florida with Church Street Concepts, a group of downtown nightclubs where she learned everything about what makes the nightlife establishments so successful. Then she transitioned to New York City where she assistant the Financial Manager of Dining Entertainment Group in finance and corporate management. Amy's depth of experience and knowledge in the hospitality and finance industry makes her a strong asset to the Amborra™ team as the Field Audit Associate.

Liam Lavelle

Accounting Manager Liam is attending Southern New Hampshire University where he is completing his Accounting Degree in Business Administration. He has been employed with Amborra™ for more than 3 years. Liam desires to pursue a senior-level position in the family business. He does bank reconciliations for cash balance and accounts payable. His advanced knowledge of Excel allows him the ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data relevant to business tasks.

Brandi Synder

Accounts Payable Manager Brandi worked in the restaurant industry for 21 years; 4 as a server/bartender, 4 as a manager, 11 as a General Manager, and 2 as a Regional Manager. She has worked for Quality Dining Inc, Chipotle, and Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant. In the management roles she oversaw the financials of the restaurant including Accounts Payable, Payroll, all aspects of P&L management, and Budgeting. For the past year she worked at a Property Management firm as an Accounting Assistant. She looks forward to combining her restaurant industry knowledge and accounting experience.

Peter Stapperfenne, CPA, MBA

Senior Accountant Peter is our in-house CPA/MBA. Peter has multiple responsibilities including generating client bank reconciliations, bill pay, general ledger accounting functions, daily flash reports, budgets, new client account setups using the Compeat Accounting Software. Peter's focus includes working on strategic planning for the growth of Amborra™ as well as our clients through analyzing current trends and operations, while projecting and researching potential future opportunities. His past experience in the restaurant industry includes all aspects of the Front of the House positions. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Accounting from Rider University.

Carlos Leon

Senior Accounting Manager Carlos has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting that serves well at Amborra™ for analyzing and problem-solving that's needed for transactions and data for the restaurant business. Many of his responsibilities include the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet endless deadlines. As a tech-savvy accountant, he is familiar with many advanced software programs that allow him the ability to organize financial records and keep data secured. Carlos is a very vital part of Amborra™ financial department.

Alexandra Loza

Accounts Payable Alexandra graduated in 2017 from Mercer College Community College with an Accounting Degree. She worked 3 ½ years as a bookkeeper for a law firm in Ewing Township, N.J. Alex is proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office 365. She performs all reconciliation of vendor statements at Amborra™.

Bryan Galindo

Junior Accountant Bryan joined Amborra in May of 2022. He is familiar with the hospitality industry, working in various positions. Bryan is a junior accountant in the New York office.
